Target market

The focus of this website is quite specifically for entrepreneurs in small-, micro-, and medium-sized enterprises in South Africa. If small businesses are your target market, then this is the place for you.

How many people will we be able to reach by advertising with 2B Business?

Currently we don’t know as we will only be launching on the 15 February 2010. We will however be reaching more than 10 000 small business in Gauteng in the first two weeks of our launch.

We also already have about 800 people subscribed to the 2Be-zine for the first edition.

How we are tracking statistics and impressions

Number of visitors and unique users of this site per month is tracked by Google Analytics.

Recipients of our newsletter are asked to give basic information about themselves which gives us an idea of who they are and where they are situated.

All advertising buttons, banners etc that are bought by the 1000 impressions are served by an independant third party, ABSOL, to give you peace-of-mind and trackability.

ABSOL has been providing an independant, verifiable advertising server service that gives all of the applicable statistics needed, for more than a decade and was originally one of the ad servers and statics providers for a number of the large newspaper groups in South Africa before the newspapers brought in their own advertising server / statistics service, the Online Publishers Association (OPA).

On top of being specifically focused on small businesses in South Africa, we can offer our advertisers excellent rates per CPM because we can still offer tracked, independant third-party advertising serving without having to cover the large costs of running an OPA system.
