With the 2B Business website we hope to provide you with a central point of easy-to-find information about doing business in South Africa. We this in mind we give you an overview of the types of content provided here:

The blog

These are short articles giving ideas, tips, comments and observations about topics specifically to do with running a smaller business. The blogs posts are original items written by the editor (Ann Williams) or chosen contributors – rather than content that has just been copied wholesale or in part from other blogs / websites with a brief explanation or comment!

Articles

We get our articles from two main sources.
The first source is from South African contributors. These writers are business people with expertise and experience in their chosen fields and they write specifically for the SMME entrepreneur in the Southern African region.

The second source is from various articles written usually for the internet that are available (or for which we have asked for copyright permission) for republishing. The service that we provide here is that we have already sifted through the thousands and thousands of articles available and that we ONLY publish articles that we think would be of use to you in running a small business. We do NOT USE FEEDS for these articles. These business articles are all edited for language before being placed on our site.

News

On a daily basis we sift through various news sources looking for news that is specifically relevant to the small business owner and entrepreneur. We then give a short overview of what is happening along with links to the stories on the sites on which they were originally published prominently displayed.

And as we go along we will also be providing original reporting on issues affecting business people in South Africa.
