Write articles
We are looking for South African entrepreneurs with expertise and experience (rather than formal qualifications) in their chosen fields or business to write practical articles for this website.
What we are looking for
The articles must give solid ideas, advice, examples and information that is designed to practically assist South African entrepreneurs. Please don’t worry too much about whether your language is good – we will be editing all articles before they are placed anyway.
Articles must NOT just be dressed up press releases or company profiles, they must have useful practical input. Please note that the editor gets to decide what will be considered for inclusion on the site; and whether it is a useful article or should be paid for and placed in another section!
How we can support each other
While we do not pay writers for articles, we do offer you marketing opportunities in the following ways:
1. All of our South African writers will have their own page under the “SA Contributors” section. This page allows you to:
- place a photograph of yourself,
- give a few paragraphs of description about yourself and what you have to offer,
- a link to your website,
- any contact details you may wish to give,
- and links to all of your articles on this website so any fans of your writing that you have will be able to find your specific articles amongst all the others with ease.
2. At the bottom of each article you will be given the opportunity to place a paragraph about yourself, as well as give your contact details. Please see this article as an example.
3. The articles will appear in the “Articles” section with the newest additions being shown on the front page, as well as being archived in the top strap under articles.
4. We appreciate the effort that you have taken to write an article for us and we would like to help you market yourself further by featuring articles by South African contributors, in our weekly e-zine so that all of our readers may also see your expertise.
How to go about it…
It’s easy. Please just send us your article/s via e-mail to us at: 2bOnline@telkomsa.net with a note that you are submitting them as articles – and make sure that you give us all both your e-mail address and telephone number.
Please send the content either in the body of the e-mail, or as a .doc document. Please don’t send it to us as a .pdf or .docx or any other format.
Once we have an example of your work, we can take it from there….
